Christiana is a healing arts practitioner and songwriter raised between New York and Portugal from primarily German and Irish ancestry.

The roots of her learnings are planted in the forests, fields and oceans of her homelands and have grown into the world of global animistic understandings and life ways. She holds a deep reverence for creativity through movement, sound, song, theater and the way art can us remember our truest self.  Through her journey and studies, ceremony, art and midwifery have become a central focus of her service. 

Today, through the support of her community, she shares that which has helped her most on her journey. Christiana carries the teachings gained through navigating life with complex trauma and chronic illness. Because of this she offers a grounded perspective on moving through these difficult initiations, sharing primarily from embodied experience.

Over 13 years of  student-ship and work experience in the healing arts support the vision of Animate Healing along with the experience of creating or supporting over 50 retreats. She is part of the team that opened Shou Sugi Ban House and built out many of their programs and offering which are still in place today. And is the founder of Calling the Muses, Earth Origins and the co-founder of Alchemy of Clarity ceremonial healing retreats. She also supports people one-on-one through remote and in person sessions.

She holds formal and apprenticeships based training in performance arts, tantra, herbalism, ceremony and midwifery. She is in also in a journey of life long initiation through what is commonly referred to as the red path.
